Senior Vice President, Project12Baskets, LLC
Craig Barbret has worked as part of the management team that has now formed Project12Baskets for over a quarter of a century. His entrepreneurial skills have aided his career as he has been designated by the organization's leadership to participate in starting many new ventures. His experience includes: selling innovative web based solutions to Fortune 1000 customers; establishing strategic partnerships with large staffing firms to create new channels to market; developing a very successful information technology consulting practice across a five state region; setting up regional recruiting centers for sourcing experienced IT professionals for the computer services industry; and training new college graduates into becoming successful IT recruiters and sales people. He brings incredible energy and organizational skills to Project12Baskets.
Craig's character has been shaped by the fact that he was raised in a "close knit" family that included six children. He and his family lived in a blue collar suburb of Detroit. His parent's sacrificed to allow him to attend a parochial school through the eighth grade which gave him a solid "faith based" foundation. He earned the money to pay for his college education by working full time while attending school full time. He received a Masters of Arts Degree in Personnel Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University with a minor in Psychology and Sociology.
Craig has been a volunteer coach for basketball, baseball and volleyball for the past 20 years. He has volunteered for and assisted with fundraising efforts for boy scouts, churches and private schools. He has been blessed with three children. Craig, and his wife of 27 years, Diane, have been involved in several ministries at their local church.
