President and Founder, Project12Baskets, LLC
As President and Founder of Project12Baskets (P12B), Barry draws on 28 years of experience and innovation in the professional services industry having joined Computer Horizons Corp. (CHC) in 1979. During his career with CHC, he founded several businesses as wholly owned subsidiaries of a public company. His knowledge of "Supply Chain Management" and innovative approach to Quality driven process improvements created value for the shareholders while delivering leverage and controls for the world's largest Enterprise Customers.
He currently serves as President and Founder of Project12Baskets, LLC. He is responsible for developing the P12B Vision and creating distribution for its innovative donor management solution.
Project12Baskets builds and deploys web-based, fundraising solutions for charitable organizations. The solution is delivered through a Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) model. Utilizing a "People, Process and Software" model, P12B facilitates planning, optimization, and cultivation of Donor Communities that create funds to support necessary projects for charitable organizations. Barry is a results-driven entrepreneur who operates with the highest ethical standards coupled with pragmatic wisdom. He clearly understands, enacts and communicates what it takes to move a business from the idea stage into profitable enterprise.
During his career, Barry has served as a Regional Vice President in the Midwest Region, a District Manager in Detroit, and a Regional Recruiting Manager for the Midwest Region. He is a graduate of Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois, with a degree in Education and a Minor in Mathematics. Immediately after graduation, Barry taught mathematics and science at the junior high level for three years. Mr. Olson was also an elementary school principal for two years in the parochial school system in Michigan.
Barry is a recognized speaker and panel member within the Workforce Management and Staffing Industry. His ideas have served as a catalyst for positive change related to Supply Chain Management and quality based process improvement in the Human Capital Industry. Additionally, Barry serves as a Member of the Board of Regents at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is a Board Member to several philanthropic endowment funds and continues to serve on several presidential advisory committees within his church body.
