Project12Baskets challenges people to look closely at their abundance to determine if what was once precious may better serve a more useful cause. Project12Baskets creates a marketplace where people can give generously, but do so without giving money. We help create a new currency for charities.

Project12Baskets draws its name from the story of the feeding of the 5000. There we read how the Lord took meager provisions (5 loaves of bread and 2 fish) and fed a small army of followers. He fed everyone and when the crowd had eaten until they were full, He said to his disciples, "why don't you pick up the leftovers." When they did, to their surprise, there were 12 baskets filled to the top.
